Aevria Labs processes and ships research materials in accordance with strict quality control and fulfillment procedures. This Shipping Policy outlines processing timelines, carrier methods, shipping fees, and risk allocation.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Order Processing & Fulfillment
In-Stock U.S. Inventory
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
- Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM local time may process the following business day.
Processing time is separate from shipping transit time.
Special Order / Backordered Products
If an item is not currently stocked in our U.S. inventory, fulfillment may require:
- Procurement from our manufacturing partners
- International transport to the United States
- Domestic inspection, labeling, and quality control
In these cases:
- Estimated fulfillment time: 7–21 business days
- These timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.
- Orders containing special-order items may be held until all items are ready unless otherwise requested.
- Special-order items are final sale and not eligible for cancellation once sourcing has begun.
Aevria Labs reserves the right to extend fulfillment timelines due to supply chain, customs, or regulatory delays.
Domestic Shipping Methods & Pricing
To maintain product integrity and provide a consistent customer experience, Aevria Labs currently offers a single expedited shipping service for all domestic orders.
Express Shipping (2–3 Business Days)
All domestic orders ship via expedited carrier services with an estimated transit time of 2–3 business days once processing and fulfillment are complete.
Shipping rates are as follows:
- $20.00 Flat Rate – Western and Central United States
- $25.00 Flat Rate – Eastern United States and remote delivery zones
- FREE Shipping on all orders totaling $250 or more before discounts and promotions have been applied
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on the delivery address.
Please note that transit times begin after order processing is complete and are estimates provided by the carrier. Delivery dates are not guaranteed.
Processing vs. Shipping Time
Order processing and fulfillment times are separate from shipping transit times.
- Orders containing products stocked in our U.S. inventory are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
- Special-order or backordered items may require additional fulfillment time as outlined in Section 1 of this Shipping Policy.
Carrier Selection
Aevria Labs utilizes reputable national carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and USPS, depending on destination, service availability, and operational requirements. Carrier selection is determined at our sole discretion to ensure the most efficient delivery method.
Signature Confirmation
Orders exceeding $400 may require an adult signature upon delivery. Aevria Labs reserves the right to require signature confirmation on any order at its discretion for fraud prevention, package security, and delivery verification purposes.
Free Shipping Eligibility
Free shipping promotions apply only to qualifying domestic orders meeting the minimum purchase requirement. Aevria Labs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue free shipping promotions at any time without prior notice.
Risk of Loss & Title Transfer
All shipments are FOB Shipping Point.
Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the package is delivered to the carrier.
Aevria Labs is not responsible for:
- Packages marked “Delivered” by the carrier
- Theft after confirmed delivery
- Carrier delays
- Incorrect addresses entered at checkout
If a package is lost in transit (not marked delivered), we will assist in filing a carrier claim. Resolution is subject to carrier investigation outcomes.
Address Accuracy
Customers are solely responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Packages returned due to incorrect address information:
- May incur additional shipping fees
- Are not eligible for automatic reshipment without payment of new shipping charges
Split Shipments
Orders may ship in multiple packages depending on:
- Inventory availability
- Fulfillment location
- Special order status
No additional shipping charges will apply to split shipments initiated by Aevria Labs.
Temperature & Environmental Conditions
Lyophilized research materials are generally stable under standard transit conditions. However:
- Customers are responsible for retrieving deliveries promptly.
- Extended exposure to extreme temperatures may impact product integrity.
- Aevria Labs does not assume liability for environmental exposure after delivery.
Cold-pack shipping may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.
International Orders
International shipping may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
Customers are fully responsible for:
- Customs clearance
- Duties and taxes
- Import compliance
- Seizures or regulatory holds
Aevria Labs does not guarantee international delivery outcomes and assumes no responsibility for customs actions.
Delivery Time Disclaimer
All delivery timeframes are estimates only.
Aevria Labs does not guarantee delivery dates and is not liable for delays caused by:
- Carrier service disruptions
- Weather
- Supply chain interruptions
- Customs processing
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
Research Use Notice
All products sold by Aevria Labs are intended strictly for laboratory research purposes only and are not for human consumption.
Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
Aevria Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the website or services at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.
